What data does sand-aid.com collect?

Sand-aid.com uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Google Tag Manager (GTM) to measure how visitors use the site. This includes anonymised data like pages visited, time on site, device type, and approximate location. No personally identifiable information is collected by GA4 on this site.

Ordering and your details

Your shopping cart is saved in your browser's localStorage and is not sent to our server until you submit an order. When you submit an order, the details you enter (name, phone, email and any notes) are sent to Sand-Aid's own order system so we can call you to confirm freight/pickup and arrange payment. No payment is taken online and we do not store card details on this website. We use your contact details only to process and fulfil your order.

Google Analytics

GA4 tracking is anonymised. IP addresses are not stored in full. You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Facebook tagged photos

Photos tagged with @sand_aid on Facebook may appear on the gallery page with attribution to the original poster. If you want your photo removed, email [email protected] or use the data deletion request page.

Cookies

Sand-aid.com itself does not set cookies. Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager may set cookies for analytics purposes. No advertising or remarketing cookies are used.
